Koch Engineered Solutions is looking to add a motivated and detail-oriented
International Logistics Manager
to our new manufacturing facility in support of our Koch-Glitsch business. This position is located in
Apodaca, Mexico.

This position will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful and compliant shipment of our products from our Monterrey facility to destinations worldwide. You will manage the end-to-end logistics process, from understanding business requirements to executing shipments and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

What You Will Do:
Logistics Planning & Operations:

• Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to execute logistics activities based on order details and shipping terms.
• Coordinate and manage transportation, including full truckload (FTL), less-than-truckload (LTL), and small package shipments, both from our manufacturing center and direct from suppliers.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, multitasking abilities, initiative, and a drive to deepen your understanding of logistics functions.

Trade Operations:

• Oversee all aspects of Mexico import and export operations, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and review all necessary shipping documentation and maintain accurate records for compliance and retention.

Customer Service:

• Respond promptly to inquiries and provide clear, professional communication to key stakeholders.
• Proactively keep customers informed on shipment status by maintaining up-to-date records and sharing timely updates.
• Develop and sustain positive working relationships with internal teams, external customers, and carriers to ensure high-quality service.

Critical Thinking & Problem Solving:

• Evaluate available options to optimize delivery efficiency and ensure goods are delivered on time and in good condition.
• Manage unexpected logistics issues, such as delivery delays or additional charges, and work toward cost-effective solutions.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to reduce costs, enhance service, and create process efficiencies.

The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements (Basic Qualifications):

• Previous experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Previous experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations roles.
• Valid VISA and Passport
• Ability to travel
• Proficiency in English and Spanish

What Will Put You Ahead:

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in a start-up facility.
• Licensed Mexico Customs Broker.
• Previous experience with transportation, dispatching, or international trade operations.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and Global Trade Management (GTM) systems.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and results orientation.
• Ability to effectively prioritize daily and long-term responsibilities.
