Implica brindar apoyo administrativo a un equipo de empleados de nivel profesional y su gerente en operaciones terrestres, rampas y/o ubicaciones de entrada, asegurando la utilización más efectiva del tiempo y el esfuerzo.

Descripción general del puesto:

Bajo supervisión general realiza las siguientes actividades:

  • Mantener el conocimiento de las regulaciones y leyes aduaneras vigentes del país relacionadas con el despacho de aduanas, responder a cualquier consulta interna o externa sobre procesos y/o pagos apropiados y brindar orientación al personal de nivel inferior, según corresponda.
  • Analizar e investigar las regulaciones aduaneras para garantizar el cumplimiento de FedEx con los cambios en tarifas y requisitos de inspección.
  • Coordinar la resolución de problemas relacionados con documentación aduanera, tarifas o multas para agilizar el movimiento de paquetes/documentos a través de la Aduana.
  • Garantizar que los derechos e impuestos aduaneros se paguen de manera oportuna y precisa para eliminar multas o sanciones para la Compañía y/o el cliente.
  • Trabajar con el personal de la agencia de aduanas, los agentes de carga aérea de FedEx y el personal de operaciones para facilitar la inspección aduanera oportuna de los paquetes de importación y exportación y garantizar el despacho de aduana oportuno.
  • Ayudar al gerente a brindar capacitación aduanera al personal local.

Las responsabilidades principales son aquellas tareas más importantes o que se realizan con mayor frecuencia, se le puede exigir que realice otras tareas asignadas.

Requisitos:

Nivel de Estudios:

  • Licenciatura en Negocios Internacionales, Aduana/equivalente.
  • Se requiere experiencia laboral más cinco (5) años de experiencia en un ambiente aduanero trabajando con diversos tipos de carga internacional.
  • Dominio del idioma inglés (450 puntos TOEIC).

Experiencia:

  • Es necesario conocer las regulaciones y la legislación del servicio aduanero del país para el despacho de entrada y salida.

  • Conocimientos de informática
  • Habilidades de Microsoft Office y PC
