The Group Quality & Sustainability Sr Manager is responsible for overseeing and leading the development and implementation of the Americas quality management, sustainability and HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) strategies across the Region. The role ensures the alignment of quality standards, regulatory compliance, and sustainability initiatives with corporate objectives, while driving the Region's commitment to long-term environmental, social, and economic responsibility.
Key responsabilities:
- Lead Americas quality and sustainability strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's overall vision, business goals, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee and direct the development, implementation, and maintenance of Americas' quality management systems (QMS) to ensure compliance with global standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, etc.).
- Lead and oversee the action plan to reduce scrap, rework, FPY, and warranty costs across all plants in the Americas and service subsidiaries, ensuring each site develops and executes robust corrective action plans, and driving continuous improvement initiatives aligned with global Quality standards.
- Lead the development and execution of the Americas' sustainability strategy, ensuring environmental, social, and economic sustainability goals are met across the region.
- Work closely with senior management, operations, procurement, and supply chain teams to embed quality and sustainability initiatives into all key business processes and projects.
- Lead and manage large-scale quality improvement projects, driving continuous improvement across sites to enhance operational efficiencies, product quality, and compliance.
- Develop and execute the region's HSE strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Promote a zero-incident safety culture, raising awareness and engagement at all organizational levels.
- Develop and oversee the sustainability and quality reporting framework, ensuring accurate, transparent, and consistent reporting on key metrics. Monitor, develop & present HSE KPI reports to senior leadership.
- Oversee the sustainability and quality performance of key suppliers, ensuring that they meet the Americas Region's quality and environmental standards.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in quality management, sustainability, within a global, multi-site organization; Proven experience in leading quality and sustainability initiatives that result in measurable business improvements, cost reductions, and enhanced compliance.
- Educational background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field.
