Collaborate with innovative 3Mers around the world
As Channel Sales Representative for Collision Repair, you will play a key role in driving sales growth, profitability, and market share through effective channel management and distributor engagement. In this role you will be able to develop strong relationships with key partners in the automotive aftermarket sector, ensuring the implementation of 3M's commercial strategies, and supporting distribution networks in delivering value through innovative 3M solutions for collision repair.
The impact you will make in this role
You will develop and manage relationships with distributors, wholesalers and paint companies within the collision repair ecosystem.
You will provide training to distributors and implement 3M commercial programs to achieve sales and profitability targets.
You will drive demand generation through the effective use of Marketing Development Funds to support the adoption of 3M solutions and increase loyalty in body shops and paint jobbers.
You will monitor distributor performance, inventory levels, and sell-out data to ensure effective channel execution.
You will gather voice-of-customer insights and conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and channel development areas
You will coordinate with end user sales team, activation marketing, portfolio leaders, application engineering, customer service, credit & collections and supply chain teams to deliver high-quality customer service and operational excellence.
You will ensure compliance with 3M's policies, pricing structures, and ethical business standards.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in channel sales, distribution management, or B2B sales in the automotive aftermarket or industrial sector.
Intermediate to advanced English required.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Knowledge of automotive refinish or collision repair processes preferred
Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities; goal-oriented and customer-focused mindset; ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
Willingness to travel within assigned territory. Valid driver's license.
Work Location: This position is remote, based in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon with frequent travel required across key territories within Mexico to visit distributors, key accounts, and end-users. The role may include periodic in-person meetings or training sessions aligned with 3M's business needs and remote work policies.
