Role Overview

The Operations Manager oversees and optimizes core business operations to ensure efficiency, scalability, and execution excellence. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on leadership across processes, systems, data, and people.

You will act as the operational backbone of the organization—building structure, improving workflows, and enabling teams to perform at a high level. This role is ideal for operators who enjoy owning outcomes, solving complex problems, and driving execution across multiple priorities.

Core ResponsibilitiesOperations Strategy & Execution — 30%
  • Lead day-to-day operational execution across teams and workflows
  • Translate business objectives into clear operational plans
  • Identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies across operations
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Process Optimization & Systems — 25%
  • Design, document, and optimize operational processes and SOPs
  • Implement automation to reduce manual work and errors
  • Improve cross-functional workflows and handoffs
  • Maintain operational documentation for scale
Data, Reporting & Insights — 20%
  • Track operational KPIs and performance metrics
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports
  • Analyze trends to support data-driven decision-making
  • Communicate insights clearly to leadership
Team & Resource Management — 15%
  • Oversee capacity planning, scheduling, and workload distribution
  • Support onboarding, training, and performance management
  • Ensure accountability and operational consistency
  • Foster strong execution habits in remote environments
Project & Initiative Management — 10%
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and operational projects
  • Manage timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations
  • Escalate risks and blockers proactively
  • Ensure on-time and high-quality delivery

Requirements

Must-Haves (Required)
  • 1–3+ years of experience in operations, project management, or operational leadership roles
  • Strong ability to build and improve operational processes
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using metrics to guide decisions
  • Experience managing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • High ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
  • Comfort working independently in a fully remote environment
Nice-to-Haves (Preferred)
  • Experience scaling operations in fast-paced or startup environments
  • Exposure to automation, systems integration, or process design
  • Background managing distributed or contractor teams
  • Experience supporting leadership or executive initiatives
