A multinational company specializing in the marketing of ingredients, flavorings, and innovative solutions for the global food industry is seeking

TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS MANAGER - BAKERY AND DAIRY INGREDIENTS

Job Objective:

This role combines in-depth technical knowledge with personalized customer service, working closely with the Research and Development and Production teams to help solve challenges, improve processes, and even develop new production methods for our customers.

The role will be the link between our ingredient technologies and customer needs, ensuring value creation through practical and innovative solutions.

Requirements:

• Academic Background: Food Science, Dairy Science, Bakery Technology, Food Engineering, or related field
• Language: Advanced English (Spoken and Written)
• More than 5 years of experience in bakery and/or dairy applications (Research and Development, Technical Service, or Production).
• Solid knowledge of the functionalities of bakery and dairy ingredients, such as:
• Bakery: enzymes, emulsifiers, hydrocolloids, fibers, proteins, yeast improvers.
• Dairy: cultures, stabilizers, proteins, hydrocolloids, emulsifiers, fat substitutes.
• Solid knowledge of bakery and dairy processing technologies.
• Proven ability to collaborate with the client's Research and Development teams and turn challenges into solutions.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with a customer-oriented mindset.
• Availability to travel regularly (domestically and internationally) to support client projects.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Solutions and Application Support

• Serve as the primary technical contact for bakery and dairy processors.
• Resolve customer issues related to formulations, process efficiency, product stability, and sensory performance.
• Develop and adapt formulations using functional ingredients (proteins, hydrocolloids, enzymes, emulsifiers, cultures, fibers, etc.).
• Conduct on-site trials, technical demonstrations, and hands-on training with customer teams.

Innovation and New Product Development

• Collaborate with customer research and development teams to co-create new recipes, concepts, and processing methods.
• Translate ingredient functionality into product benefits (texture, stability, shelf life, nutrition, cost optimization).
• Anticipate Market and Regulatory Trends (e.g., Clean Label, Plant-Based Products, Nutritional Enrichment) and Propose New Solutions.

Knowledge Sharing and Technical Expertise

• Provide technical support to internal sales and marketing teams.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations, workshops, and training sessions for clients and colleagues.
• Generate application notes and documentation to demonstrate ingredient performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with sales, marketing, research and development, and product management to align technical strategies with business objectives.
• Gather customer feedback and industry insights to guide new product development and innovation pathways.
