Role:

Provides day-to-day technical and administrative support for logistics staff and activities.

What you'll do:

  • Tracking and reporting on activities, costs and expenditures for all transportation modes.
  • Verifying documents and checklists are accurate and complete.
    Notifying customers of shipping or receiving schedules and of any logistics problems.
  • Communicate effectively with shippers, carriers and CAT facilities on load's status.
  • Collaborate with transportation partners on maintaining loads updated with accurate ETAs and milestones.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or undergraduate degree related to a Supply Chain field of choice
  • Fluent English (Intermediate to Advanced)

  • Apply procedures to guarantee error-free results.
  • Prevent mistakes that could impact the unit or function.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools to ensure accuracy in reporting and analysis.

Planning and Organizing

  • Adjust priorities when conditions change or new information arises.
  • Accurately estimate time and resources needed to complete tasks.
  • Define key assignments, schedules, and process steps.
  • Apply the concept of "critical path" to meet deadlines and keep larger projects on track.
  • Demonstrated expertise in planning and organizing operational and/or logistical processes.

Service Excellence

  • Provide customer service that meets high-quality standards.
  • Recognize and avoid poor or mediocre service practices.
  • Manage customer perceptions and expectations to enhance service delivery.
  • Contribute to business benefits derived from delivering exceptional service.
  • Strong background in customer service and negotiation to ensure effective and satisfactory relationships.

Considerations for the best candidates:

  • Have worked in a similar or related position to Transportation
  • Advanced English
