Plant HR Manager - MXThe HR Manager plans and administers policies relating to all phases of human resources activity by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate administrators.

Role Responsibilities and Scope

  • All responsibilities include, but are not limited to the below outline
  • Ensures policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance.
  • Recruits, interviews, and selects employees to fill vacant positions.
  • Conducts new employee orientations to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
  • Participates in safety committee, conducts facility walk-through's identifying safety issues.
  • Works with management and senior HR in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
  • Ensures plant is FLSA compliant.
  • Assists management in union avoidance activities.
  • Conducts training when requested.
  • Investigates accidents and prepares reports for insurance carrier.
  • Leads monthly "Listening Sessions" with employees.

Requirements and qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Management, Psychology or any related field (preferred).
  • Advanced English Level (Must)
  • Experience of 3 to 5 years of working  with a similar HR role in a Manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience handling relations with Union labors.
  • Knowledge in Oracle, Cronos or any similar Talent Management System.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with strong grasp of Microsoft Excel.
  • In-depth knowledge of local government policy, regulations, and Mexican labor laws.
  • Availability to work near Acatlán de Juárez, Jalisco.

  • Ability to delivery effective and professional presentation to peers, management and other professionals within our field.
