Responsibilities
The Opportunity
This position is responsible for assisting in reviewing, analyzing and consolidating all Latam Tax Reporting related activities under FAS109 reports (ASC740) in HFM Cloud; consolidate and report all tax requirements at sector level; provide specific technical tax accounting support to the sector and assist in sector tax reporting projects.

Your Impact
Assist in reviewing & analyzing the tax reported figures by the market units/legal entities in a monthly, quarterly and annual tax schedules, identify and help the market unit/legal entities clear validation errors in HFM FAS109 (ASC740) reporting for actual and forecast process.

• Review FAS109 tax schedules and assist the Manager/Sr Analyst to provide technical support to field for issues identified. Support includes technical ASC740 accounting, system issues such as HFM cloud reporting, SmartView and retrieve functions.
• Assist in preparing consolidated analyses required by Corporate Tax and Corporate Control such as:
• NOPBT tax and ETR for actuals and forecast
• YTD cash tax actuals and forecast for rest of year
• I/C and R/E transfer matching
• Non-U.S. FIN48 reported by countries
• OCI and tax on OCI (e.g. FAS158, FAS133, etc.)
• Provision to return adjustment by entity
• Accrued income tax payable roll forward
• Deferred income tax roll forward
• Total pretax ETR
• WHT ETR
• Assist with questions and information requests from Corporate Tax

Qualifications
Who Are We Looking For?
Bachelor's degree in accounting is mandatory

A minimum of 3 years' experience as in general accounting roles, general auditor, tax auditor, sr tax consultant or similar positions

Knowledge in ASC740 (FAS109) is mandatory

Knowledge in USGAAP and MEXGAAP mandatory

Bilingual (English/Spanish). English level of 70% (reading, writing, conversational)

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data analysis, macros) mandatory

Previous systems experience working with HFM cloud (or any similar reporting system) is desirable

Highly organized and methodical individual who pays attention to details and analysis

Must be proactive, work under pressure, oriented to get results and inquisitive

Interpersonal and communication skills are required as individual will be required to interact with employees of all Latam countries

Ability to work under pressure and in stressful environments to adhere to strict
