Job Overview

Impact Advisors is seeking a dynamic and motivated Revenue Cycle Analyst to support the back-end revenue cycle operations team by developing, maintaining, and distributing accurate and timely daily, weekly, and monthly reports. This role requires strong analytical and technical expertise, including advanced proficiency with Epic and other SaaS-based reporting tools, to create dashboards, visualizations, and operational performance insights. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, collaborative, highly data-driven, and experienced in identifying trends and opportunities within complex revenue cycle workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting & Analytics

  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly revenue cycle performance reports across cash posting, follow‑up, denials, aging, productivity, and other back‑office functions.
  • Build automated dashboards and visual reports for leadership using Epic reporting tools and SaaS platforms.
  • Analyze trends, variances, and KPIs to identify performance gaps or opportunities
  • Provide payor policy analysis and review.
  • Summarize findings and present insights to supervisors, managers, and leadership teams to support decision‑making.

Technical Expertise & System Utilization

  • Extract, validate, and integrate data from Epic and other SaaS-based tools to ensure accuracy across all reporting deliverables.
  • Collaborate with IT, data engineers, and revenue cycle leaders to refine and optimize data feeds, workflows, and reporting structures.

Operational Support

  • Partner with back‑end revenue cycle teams to understand workflows and define reporting needs across AR, denials, cash posting, underpayments, and appeals.
  • Support special projects, performance audits, and ad‑hoc analysis requests aligned to operational priorities.
  • Participate in weekly operational meetings, providing updated metrics, dashboards, and analytical insights.

Quality & Data Integrity

  • Validate data accuracy across all reporting, ensuring consistency with source systems.
  • Maintain documentation for reporting processes, data dictionaries, and metric definitions.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in data Analytics, Finance, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, financial analysis, or similar role.
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in AR, denials, or other back‑office revenue cycle departments.
  • Experience in Healthcare delivery systems with knowledge of CPT/HCPC, ICD-10 coding, clearinghouse, EDI claims and remittance advice processing, and Epic Revenue Cycle Applications
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, PowerQuery, formulas, automation).
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

Preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate from senior leadership to front line staff.
  • Strong proficiency with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar).
