Mission of the Role
The Environmental Laboratory Test Technician is responsible to execute the different kind of Environmental test of the design and product validations for the Visteon product assurance requisitions according to the customer specifications following the international standards and meeting the International Standard Organization 17025 requirements.

Key Objectives of this Role

• Deliver the product assurance validations results on time.
• Maintain the quality system points that are applicable to the Environmental Laboratory (5S's, preventive maintenances, Quality checks, Calibrations, etc.).
• Help to the Environmental Laboratory with the purchase process when it is required (shipments, packages, purchase request forms, e-mails following).
• Support to the different Visteon projects with the product assurance validations.

Key Performance Indicators

• Percent of the assigned validations completed on time.
• Audit results and action plans.
• Elaboration of the preventive maintenance on time.
• Number of non-conforming works.
• Execution of the quality checks and verifications assigned on time.

Key Year One Deliverables:
Have the technical knowledge to be capable of executing at least 3 different test technologies without technical support (Vibration with thermal cycling, Power thermal cycling, and 5-point parametric test. ) Have the skills to elaborate the test reports for the executed test.

Qualification, Experience and Skills:
Required Skills.

• High school technical degree or truncated engineering in electronic, electrical mechanics, electrical, or mechatronics
• Equipment knowledge: Oscilloscope, multimeter, power supply, signal generators
• Understand the electronic diagrams reading: Component symbols, serial and parallel connections.
• Knowledge: Thermal chambers and Vibration shakers.
• Microsoft office: Basic level for Word, Excel, and Power point
• English level: Basic

Desired Skills.

• 1 years of relevant experience preferably in automotive, technical electrical testing or electronic industry
• Highly desirable experience in machine maintenance

Reporting Structure:
The Environmental Laboratory Test Technician I reports to the Environmental Laboratory Supervisor.
