Role Overview
We are seeking a highly accomplished Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – LATAM to lead and scale a complex, multi-market organisation across Latin America. This role requires a visionary, results-driven executive with a strong track record of driving growth, operational excellence, and financial performance at scale.
The CEO will hold full regional accountability, overseeing a workforce of 5,000+ employees, managing a diversified business portfolio exceeding USD 80 billion, and shaping long-term strategy across multiple countries, cultures, and regulatory environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Define and execute the overall LATAM strategy, aligned with global corporate vision, governance, and shareholder objectives.
• Provide executive leadership across multiple country operations, directing 5,000+ employees through senior leadership teams.
• Own full P&L responsibility for the region, ensuring sustainable revenue growth, profitability, and capital efficiency across a portfolio exceeding USD 80B.
• Drive market expansion, mergers & acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic investments across LATAM.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with boards, investors, regulators, government authorities, and key strategic partners.
• Ensure robust corporate governance, risk management, compliance, and ethical standards across all markets.
• Lead large-scale business transformation initiatives, including digitalisation, operational optimisation, and organisational effectiveness.
• Champion talent development, leadership succession, diversity, and high-performance culture across the region.
• Represent the organisation externally at industry forums, government engagements, and global leadership platforms.
• Act as the primary regional spokesperson, safeguarding and enhancing corporate reputation and brand value.
Required Experience & Qualifications
• 16+ years of progressive executive leadership experience, including senior roles such as CEO, Managing Director, President, or equivalent regional leadership positions.
• Proven experience leading large, multi-country organisations with workforces of 5,000+ employees.
• Demonstrated success managing large-scale portfolios and P&L responsibility exceeding USD 80 billion.
• Deep understanding of LATAM market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and cross-cultural business practices.
• Strong experience working directly with boards, global executive teams, and institutional stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced qualification strongly preferred.
Language Requirements
• Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) is mandatory
• Proficiency in additional languages is a strong advantage
