Mission of the Role:
The Controller Sr Analyst 2 plays a critical part in shaping the financial strategy and operational efficiency of the Engineering organization across the Americas. As a trusted advisor to leadership, the Senior Engineering Controller Analyst is responsible for driving financial planning, performance analysis, and strategic insights that directly impact business decisions and long-term success.

Key Objectives of this Role:
Lead and manage forecasting, budgeting, and financial outlook processes for Engineering.

Provide in-depth financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.

Consolidate and oversee financial reporting for Engineering expenses and recoveries across cost centers and projects.

Act as the primary subject matter expert for Engineering financials, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and transparency.

Partner with Program Managers and Chief Engineers to proactively identify financial risks and opportunities.

Execute and oversee month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.

Champion continuous improvement initiatives in financial processes and tools.

Qualification, Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
  • Strong proficiency in English (written and verbal)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office and Power BI skills
  • Experience with ERP systems (QAD, SAP, HFM/OneStream)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical mindset
