Overview

This role is critical for ensuring accurate and efficient demand planning, serving as a bridge between commercial strategy and operational execution. The position aims to maintain a balance between product availability, operational efficiency, and profitability in a highly competitive market. By aligning demand forecasts with business objectives, this role contributes directly to revenue growth, margin optimization, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Ensure precise and efficient product demand planning, collaborating with commercial teams and key stakeholders to create a demand plan that meets revenue, margin, and customer service objectives while optimizing distribution capacity and inventory levels.
• Develop demand forecasts based on sales history, market trends, and business plans.
• Coordinate with sales, marketing, and production teams to integrate campaigns, product launches, and installed capacity.
• Lead the S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process, ensuring alignment across departments.
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels, reducing obsolescence and stockouts.
• Implement and track demand planning KPIs (forecast accuracy, service level, inventory turnover).
• Identify supply chain risks and propose contingency plans.
• Manage and develop the demand planning team, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

Education

• Bachelor's degree required; postgraduate studies in Supply Chain preferred.

Technical Knowledge

• Strong proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.).
• Expertise in systems and methodologies such as S&OP Process, Sales Forecasting, and Logistic Network.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP APO or IBP preferred).
• Knowledge of demand planning KPIs and supply chain metrics (Forecast Accuracy, OTIF, Inventory Days of Supply, Excess & Obsolescence).
