General Manager – Luxury Boutique Hotel (Puerto Vallarta)

Full-time | On-site | Executive Leadership Role

We are seeking an accomplished General Manager
to lead the full operation of a luxury boutique hotel located in Puerto Vallarta. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong operational discipline, exceptional leadership presence and the ability to deliver a consistent, high-end guest experience.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on hospitality executive who excels at building teams, elevating service standards and ensuring that every part of the property operates at an exceptional level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations: Rooms Division, F&B, Housekeeping, Facilities, Front Office, and Guest Experience.
  • Ensure impeccable service standards, property upkeep, and brand consistency across all departments.
  • Lead and develop department heads, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage financial performance, controlling costs while protecting service excellence and long-term asset value.
  • Implement and strengthen operational processes, SOPs, and quality controls.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction metrics, anticipate service gaps, and drive meaningful improvements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with guests, staff, vendors, and ownership.
  • Guarantee compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and internal policies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as General Manager or senior hotel operations leader in
    luxury or upscale boutique hospitality
    .
  • Strong operational expertise with the ability to get into the details while maintaining strategic oversight.
  • Demonstrated success leading and motivating diverse teams in high-service environments.
  • Financial acumen: budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to represent the property with professionalism.
  • Fluent English and Spanish required.
  • High availability and flexibility in a dynamic hospitality setting.
