SAP RTB Functional Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP RTB Functional Analyst to support and enhance SAP S/4HANA solutions within a discrete manufacturing environment. This role is focused on Run-the-Business (RTB) activities, requiring strong hands-on configuration skills, end-to-end issue resolution, and close collaboration with business stakeholders and AMS partners.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience supporting SAP S/4HANA in discrete manufacturing environments
  • Strong functional expertise in SAP modules supporting engineering and manufacturing, including:
  • Project Systems (PS)
  • Quality Management (QM)
  • Engineering Change Management (ECM)
  • SAP Fiori
  • Proven experience executing configuration changes and managing end-to-end issue resolution in complex SAP landscapes

Certifications

  • SAP S/4HANA certification in relevant modules (PS, QM, Engineering Change Management, Fiori) — required
  • ITIL or similar service management certification — preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Break-Fix Resolution:

Diagnose and resolve SAP S/4HANA functional issues across DFC modules while minimizing business disruption.

  • Enhancement Delivery:

Implement small-scale functional enhancements aligned with business priorities and IT governance standards.

  • Hands-On Configuration:

Execute SAP configuration changes as needed, including workflow adjustments, material master updates, and PLM integration points supporting New Product Development processes.

  • Stakeholder Management:

Act as the primary liaison for business users, gathering requirements, clarifying issues, and communicating resolution timelines effectively.

  • AMS Coordination:

Oversee Application Management Services (AMS) partners to ensure timely, high-quality support delivery. Validate fixes and enhancements prior to deployment.

  • Integration Support:

Support and troubleshoot integrations between SAP S/4HANA and adjacent systems (e.g., PLM, labeling systems), ensuring data consistency and process alignment.

  • Root Cause Analysis:

Apply structured problem-solving techniques to identify root causes and prevent issue recurrence.

  • Documentation:

Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, enhancements, and standard operating procedures for audit and knowledge transfer purposes.

  • Compliance & Governance:

Ensure all changes comply with IT governance, security standards, and quality assurance protocols.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90, $91,000.00 per month
