Ideal Candidate

  • Based in Cancun or nearby with the ability to travel within Riviera Maya.
  • Experience in weddings, hospitality, or resort room block coordination (required).
  • Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English.
  • Organized, timely, and communicative.
  • Passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences.

Key Responsibilities

1) Resort communications manager

  • Monitor and engage WhatsApp groups and Email, on behalf of couples who are working with Wedding Plan 360. We publicly advertise 15-20minute response times.
  • Reach out to resorts listed on our website ) to coordinate, answer queries, and follow up with timely responses.
  • Keep open communication channels between resorts and couples, ensure rapid responses, and escalate issues when needed.

2) Couple conversion & consultation calls

  • Conduct calls (English-speaking) with prospective couples to explain what we offer, highlight why they're in good hands.
  • Lock in couples: guide them through resort & venue options, help them decide, answer questions about venue features, food, wedding capacity, etc.
  • Make sure couples are confident about our team, their resort choice, and that we (Wedding Plan 360) are facilitating & securing the booking.

3) Brand Relationship Management & Familiarization Trips (3-4 days per month)

  • Visit the resorts we offer: do on-site inspections, check facilities, review wedding event setups, and do food tastings. Stay up to date on resort offerings while maintaining strong relationships with resort coordinators.
  • Capture video content and photos (for our marketing/website / social media) of resorts in "wedding mode".
  • Report findings back to the internal team (Wedding Plan 360) with recommendations, highlight features, any caveats, and ensure resorts meet our standards.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Fluent in English (spoken & written) – essential.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls, emailing/messaging, engaging couples, and persuading/consulting.
  • Basic hospitality industry knowledge (resort environments, weddings, room blocks) is a plus.
  • Ability to travel locally (Cancún/Riviera Maya), visit resorts, and be on site.
  • Video/photo content creation skills (smartphone or camera) and a good eye for what "good content" looks like.
  • Strong communication skills, prompt response mindset (for WhatsApp etc).
  • Ideally bilingual (Spanish/English) would be a benefit since local resort staff often speak Spanish.
  • Self-motivated, able to work with minimal direct supervision, flexible schedule (resort visits may require weekends/evenings).
