Location: Querétaro

Position Summary:

This position serves as the company's on-site Site manager and primary point of contact at the customer facility. Initially operating as a one-person operation, the role is responsible for end-to-end site operations including inventory analysis and procurement, supplier coordination (domestic and international), logistics support, tool crib management, material handling, customer service, and product distribution. The role may expand to include staff supervision as operations grow.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Site Management

  • Manage daily on-site operations and represent the company at the customer location
  • Ensure safe operations and policy compliance
  • Perform daily audits and resolve operational issues
  • Report daily issues, risks, and updates to the Program Manager
  • Analyze inventory levels and forecast demand
  • Procure tooling and materials from national and international suppliers
  • Track and expedite purchase orders
  • Work closely with vendors to resolve issues related to pricing, lead times, quality, or availability
  • Manage all customer quote requests
  • Coordinate with logistics teams import/export documentation
  • Receive, store, and manage materials
  • Manage tool crib operations and material handling
  • Pick, stage, distribute, and deliver materials as required
  • Act as primary customer contact
  • Address customer concerns promptly and professionally
  • Provide excellent customer service and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Interact with contract administrators and project stakeholders to resolve issues
  • Maintain accurate records related to inventory, orders, and site activities
  • Dedicate time daily to active projects and continuous improvement efforts
  • Support problem resolution between suppliers, logistics partners, and customers
  • Support hiring, training, and supervision of site staff, provide discipline as needed
  • Monitor attendance and performance
  • Support team development
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Experiencia y requisitos

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in procurement, inventory management, or supply chain operations
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Experience working with suppliers and logistics providers (international preferred)
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on environment (tool crib, warehouse, deliveries)
  • Proficiency with ERP or inventory systems preferred
