We're looking for a Control Desk & Credit Associate to join our team in Mexico, helping us manage key credit operations that are essential to Clara's financial health and customer trust. You'll play a vital role in executing and improving processes related to account monitoring, limit adjustments, payment cycle management, and operational risk.
This role sits at the intersection of Risk, Credit, and Operations. You'll need a high degree of rigor, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate both structured and fast-changing environments. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability and scalability of our platform as we continue to grow across Latin America.
Who you areWe're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
Must haves1–2 years of experience in credit operations, risk, finance, or similar analytical roles
Strong attention to detail and process discipline
Working proficiency in Spanish and English
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Experience or interest in AI tools to automate workflows
Familiarity with credit products, financial services, or risk management
Basic proficiency in Portuguese or a desire to learn it
Independent analytical skills using spreadsheets, SQL, or Python

Clara's Hybrid PolicyClaridians in a hybrid mode split their time between working from the office, talking to or visiting customers, or working from home. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for each individual and team.
We don't enforce a minimum number of days for most roles, but you're expected to spend time at the office organically, and be at the office most days during your ramp-up or when required by your leader.
