E-commerce Manager

A fast-growing, mission-driven consumer brand is looking for an E-Commerce Manager to take full ownership of its Shopify storefront — shaping the customer journey, leading product launches, and turning insights into growth. This isn't just about managing pages or listings; it's about building systems that convert, scale, and inspire loyal customers.

You'll work directly with leadership to drive online revenue by optimizing every touchpoint — from integrations and merchandising to storytelling and conversion. If you live and breathe DTC, love testing new ideas, and get a rush from seeing metrics climb, this is the role for you.

What You'll Do

 

Website ManagementManage our Shopify store end-to-end: apps, integrations, technical stackExecute site improvements, landing pages, and new product launchesMerchandise strategically to highlight key products, promotions, and benefitsGo-to-Market PlanningBuild product launch calendars with merchandising, content, and product teamsDefine positioning, messaging, and USPs for new and hero productsAlign launches with seasonal campaigns and promotional windowsCampaign Development & ExecutionPlan and execute campaigns across customer segments (partnering with CRM and growth)Coordinate with content teams to ensure assets and messaging are launch-readyOptimize on-site merchandising to feature promoted products prominentlyMessaging & Creative DirectionWrite product marketing briefs that give creative teams clear directionEnsure messaging consistency across PDPs, ads, emails, and landing pagesDrive on-site storytelling that sells products and reinforces brandCustomer Insights & SegmentationConduct research to identify target segments and shopping behaviorsBuild audience personas and tailor campaigns to specific customer needsUse analytics to measure campaign reach and engagement by segmentPerformance Measurement & OptimizationOwn CVR and AOV — devise and execute strategies to continually improveTrack KPIs: CTR, conversion, ROAS, campaign-attributed revenueRun tests on messaging, creative, offers, and site experienceDeliver post-campaign analysis to inform future strategiesCross-Functional CollaborationWork with Content Ops to optimize all product marketing assetsPartner with Operations and Product to align promotions with inventory and prioritiesCoordinate with Product Management on feature launches and PDP enhancements

What You Need

5+ years in e-commerce (shopify is a must), online marketing, or growth rolesProven track record improving CVR, AOV, and site performanceExperience managing go-to-market strategies and product launchesDeep familiarity with analytics tools (GA4, Triple Whale, etc.)BA/BS or equivalent in marketing, brand management, or related fieldNon negotiables:Shopify expert — you know the platform inside-out (coding not a requirement)Data-driven optimizer — you are fluent in GA4, Triple Whale, and data dashboardsStrategic thinker — you don't just execute; you see the bigger pictureExceptional communicator — you write clean copy and present insights clearlySelf-starter who ships — you don't wait for permission; you test, learn, and improveObsessed with customer experience — every decision runs through the filter of "does this make buying easier and better?"Passion for our mission — protection and sustainability aren't buzzwords to you; they matterNice to have:You have some design chops (Figma, Canva, Adobe Suite)You understand The principles of CRO and A/B testing frameworksYou've launched products in the DTC spaceYou can "vibe code" or work with developers to execute technical changesYou're fluent in the language of brand — not just performance

Salary & Perks

Competitive SalaryThis is a full-time, long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with TLNT.Work from home.Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (+/- 1 hour accepted) - PST.Additional perks.
