We are looking for a Track and Trace Assistant to join our freight operations team and ensure every load is monitored, updated, and executed at the highest standard.

Position Overview

The Track and Trace Assistant role is responsible for maintaining real time visibility of loads, communicating with carriers and customers, and escalating issues before they impact service. This position plays a critical role in our brokerage operations by ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proactive problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track active brokerage loads through TMS, carrier communication, and tracking platforms
  • Ensure on-time pickup and delivery by proactively addressing service delays or exceptions
  • Communicate load status updates to customers and internal teams
  • Escalate DEFCON-level or high-impact service issues for immediate resolution
  • Maintain accurate documentation and notes within the TMS for every load
  • Support carrier reassignments, recoveries, and last-minute coverage as needed
  • Collaborate with brokerage sales, carrier reps, and dispatch teams to maintain service levels

Requirements

  • 1+ years in freight brokerage, dispatch, or tracking & tracing preferred
  • Strong communication skills (clear, professional, and confident)
  • Proficient with TMS platforms, load boards, and tracking software
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment and remain calm under pressure
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Reliable technology setup (desktop/laptop, strong internet connection, dual monitors preferred)

Available Schedules:

  • 11 PM - 9 AM CST (San Antonio Texas Time zone)

Pay: $14, $20,000.00 per month
