Position: Remote Patient Advocate (Women's Health)

Location: Remote

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm CST

Reports to: Chief Revenue Officer (CRO)

About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Patient Advocate to serve as a key point of contact for individuals navigating care in the women's health field. This role blends patient communication, administrative coordination, and consultative support, requiring empathy, professionalism, and organizational skills. The Patient Advocate plays a critical role in ensuring patients feel heard, informed, and supported throughout their journey.

As the organization expands into new markets such as Houston, Austin, and Dallas, this position will support a diverse population — with a strong focus on serving Hispanic and multicultural communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound calls and transfer patients to the appropriate clinical teams across different markets.
  • Take accurate and detailed messages when clinical teams are unavailable.
  • Follow up on voicemails and inquiries received outside business hours.
  • Create and maintain patient profiles in the system.
  • Schedule initial consultations and diagnostic appointments.
  • Coordinate follow-ups for patients in active treatment.
  • Track outstanding items, including deposits, documentation, or unanswered questions.
  • Receive and verify medical records from other providers.
  • Process payments via the clinic's secure system.
  • Follow up with patients after appointment cancellations.
  • Support continuous improvements and adapt responsibilities as business needs evolve.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish): Fluency in both languages is required.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to handle sensitive conversations with empathy, clarity, and professionalism.
  • Healthcare Experience: Prior experience in a healthcare or women's health setting preferred.
  • Medical Interpretation: Experience as a medical interpreter is a strong plus.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using digital scheduling tools and systems (CRM/EMR platforms).
  • Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy when handling patient data and documents.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Comfortable working with diverse populations in a compassionate, nonjudgmental manner.
  • U.S. visa.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $23, $26,000.00 per month
