LOCATION- Mexico City, Mexico- STARTING DATE- Next possible starting date- CONTRACT TYPE- Local Contract- DEPARTMENT- Accounting and Reporting- WORKING HOURS- Full-time- REFERENCE CODE- 946- What you can expect- What you can expect- What you can expect - textThe Controller - Non Operated will report to the BU Mexico Controller and will be part of Mexico Finance Team. The activities will be as follows:

- Monitor local control processes and policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Controlling the monthly package reception from the Operators leaving evidence if it was received as per the Joint Operating Accounting (JOA)
- Verify the information received is in line with what is stated in the JOA
- Codify the charges (invoices received) and send the Excel file to the accounts payable (AP) area to process it in SAP.
- Compare the costs received on monthly basis against the Work Program and Budget
- Provide monthly comments on the variation (actuals vs GFO)
- Control the reception of the cash calls sent by the Operators and inform to the treasury area the cash necessities to pay on time.
- Prepare monthly balance reconciliations of the consortium accounts (Cash call account, account payable, CAPEX and OPEX accounts, invoices received etc.)

- 10 years of experience in Finance / FP&A / Controlling
- Minimum 5 years of experience in O&G companies
- Fluent in English and Spanish (oral and written)
