Java Configurator

**Your role**:
As an active member of the TELUS International, you will be in a core of the team

managing TELUS Offering/Product Catalog. Your focus will be on configuration of

Offering/Product Catalog change requests and quality assurance of these changes.

**Responsibilities**:
Perform change requests configuration and verification in Offering Catalog as per

existing user guides

Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements

Design catalog model, create test cases, update configuration guides to meet

new business needs

Work together with TELUS team to improve delivery processes and practices to

guarantee best quality and short delivery timeline

Work in a agile team, participate daily SCRUM and other SCRUM meetings, be

an active team member

**Required Skills**:
Experience with Java SE, PL/SQL and SQL.

Experience and/or knowledge of Java EE and Spring Framework.

Experience with Unit Testing and general QA practices.

Experience with relational database management systems like Oracle Database,

MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc

Experience with version control technologies (Git, GitHub, Sourcetree, etc.)

Knowledgeable in software release management and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.

Experience with agile methodologies like Scrum and related tools like Jira.

Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving, logical thinking,

organization, prioritization, and learning skills.

**Desirable Skills**:
Experience with JavaScript.

Experience working with remote teams

Experience with API platforms, like Postman and Swagger, for consuming REST

APIs.

Experience with data analytics and data manipulation of large datasets (with

Excel, Sheets, Python, etc.).

Knowledge of Public Cloud providers, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
