**Position: Production Planning & Purchasing Specialist**

**Location**: Apodaca, N. L.

**OBJECTIVE**:Manage and execute all necessary processes and methods for achieving the production objectives previously established, among them, the inputs, material resources, human resources, and others necessary items for the achievement of said purpose. Manage the duties procurement’s development as well as the quality of its materials/products to ensure and guarantee the efficient operation, through Company procedures.

**JOB SUMMARY**:Planning and production control in the short, medium and long term, as well as the materials, components and supplies necessary for the fulfillment plan, as well as be in charge to acquire the most cost-effective deals and to reduce procurement expenses, as well as procurement’s development and quality material/products. Procurement planning, procurement report, asset management, contract & agreement.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

- Manage the inventory of finished product or finished parts.
- Manage shipments of the finished product.
- Make the daily, weekly, annual planning of the production required by customers.
- Capacity in production line analysis.
- Check the shipment preparation status to the customer and check its compliance according to the established shipping windows.
- Receive engineering changes, analyze them and involve corresponding departments.
- Manage work orders according to customer requirements.
- Prepare the metrics and production rates.
- Supervise that people in charge carry out the duties entrusted.
- Evaluate the performance of people in charge.
- Timely implement procurement according factory requirments.
- Issue purchase orders, material arrival tracking and quality documentation.
- Manage and develop suppliers under strict quality and cost control.
- Responsible for purcharse agreement and price negotiation.
- Report procurement expenses and performance to Headquarters.

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bacherlor's degree in related field.
- +3 years of experience in production planning.
- SAP/ERP
- +3 years of experience in purchasing.
- Experiences in mechanical industry is a plus.
- Able to manage different project at same time.
- Quality and professional driven.
- Process and production performance oriented.
- English (**Business level**).
