**Position Summary**
The eCommerce Business Unit is the link between Business Units & channel strategy (offline) with the eCommerce and digital channels execution. He/She needs to ensure that physical store and the online execution are aligned and building upon the category strategy.
He/She is responsible to bring eCommerce and Digital expertise and understanding to feed into the category and channel strategies: 1) Leveraging the eRetail Media Network; 2) Connecting all the different touchpoints (offline that connect to online and online); 3) Securing data collection opportunities and online exclusive activities.
When it comes to PurePlayers, the eCommerce Business Unit is responsible to develop the category strategy: sales target, demand planning, catalogue, pricing and promotional strategy and advertising strategy aligned with the category fundamentals.
**A day in the life of...**
1. Understand Point of Sale Execution by visiting physical stores and running online store visits to: 1) Ensure the connection between online and offlin execution; 2) understand opportunities of data collection and; 3) Obtaining a better understanding of shopper's path to purchase.
2. Aligns and integrates business unit strategy to complement omnichannel plans bringing eCommerce & digital expertise and understanding. For PurePlayers & enablers (ex. Cornershop/Rappi) is fully responsible of creating a promotional and activation calendar aligned with the business unit strategy and clients' needs.
3. Plans and aligns PFME and TS budget to secure flawless execution on eCommerce and Key Accounts digital media groups (ex. Amazon Marketing Services/ Walmart Media Group, etc.)
4. Aligns with CDT portfolio & pricing strategy for online channels (eCommerce, sCommerce, etc.). Proposes and executes the development of online exclusive calendars and products.
5. For PurePlayers leads Category Channel Plan and MBP: Rolling, TS & demand planning. For the rest of eCommerce Channel feeds into Channel Marketing Activator MBP and category channel plan. He/Shre is responsible to meet at least once a week with the media agencies, Amazon Advertising, Mercado Libre Ads to ensure planning, optimization and execution of advertising plans. Meeting regularly (at least once per month) with the customers to present N+3 category. plans.
6.Responsible to guide BU on best in class eContent fundamentals & secure eContent development and execution across platforms: Search Optimized Copywriting, basic and advanced images, A+ Content, Brand Stores
7. Analyze and report category sales & customer performance. Monitor digital media marketing performance and spend for campaigns implemented. Suggest optimizations for future implementations based on data analyzed
8. Help develop long-term Category strategy for eCommerce
