**Business Intelligence Developer Role** **About the Job**: This role will help deliver a portfolio of data and analytics products which enable insights (through advanced analytics) for key business questions leveraging data technologies. The primary function of this role is to design, develop, test, deploy and support solutions that provide data visualization, interactive dashboards, and reports, as part of an end-to-end information architecture and strategy. Both front-end and back-end tool development will be necessary for this role as these solutions may leverage known data from our data warehouse as well as unknown data from new sources. This role will work within an agile team providing technical and design feedback. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** Impact on Business Results Contributes to business results by delivering Visualization Products with high value for the organization, unlocking new capabilities and ensuring high quality IT delivery. - Design and develop visualization solutions that provide a clear and consistent BI product. Ensure design and development includes highly proficient, performant and accurate delivery. - Understand and maximize the value of data and how it fits into the overall strategy of the organization. - Deliver BI capabilities in line with Danone’s data architecture vision, strategy, principles, and standards; get buy-in from stakeholders, management, and business partners. - Serve as an expert resource on matters of data visualization to business and technology teams in all phases of development, implementation, and support. - Balance short-term versus long-term actions, strategic versus tactical requirements, while continuing to move forward towards the strategic vision. - Document the design and delivery of solutions to enable the support and use of solutions by the technology and business teams, enabling a clear lineage from the source data. - Train users of the delivered products. Process & Projects - Deliver the data product and turn the product vision into reality. - Review specifications, providing technical designs. - Design, develop, and test BI products effectively and efficiently. - Optimize product development, minimizing the amount of effort required to maximize the value delivered to end-users. - Ensure data architectural adherence through blueprint, design and build reviews. - Create/Supplement appropriate standards, processes, and tools to promote and facilitate consistent visualization of data. - Focus on data quality. - Participate in developing consistent definitions for common reference data. - Provide intuitive and efficient user experience that tells a story - Share knowledge about data definitions in such a way that the users have confidence that they are answering the right questions. - Establish measures to chart progress related to completeness, timeliness and quality of data provided to the business - Trouble shoot and solve critical production issues. Managerial complexity - No managerial responsibility **About you** - 5+ years of demonstrated experience in BI, Analytics, Reporting or similar Data products - Expertise with Data Governance disciplines, such as Data Stewardship, Quality, Lifecycle Management and Cataloguing - Experience with CPG and agile working are desired INNOVATION SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: - Must have strong analysis, architecture, and design skills in order to analyze data requirements and implement solutions. - Experience delivering Business Intelligence, Data Analytics and Data Warehouse solutions, with a focus in front-end visualization and analytics - Expert knowledge of Power BI (or other similar Visualization tools) - Design first mentality focused on user experience and visualization - Working knowledge of data technologies including Informatica (ETL & ELT), Snowflake, Relational databases, SQL. - Experience with SAP data a plus - Organized, focused and able to thrive in a dynamic environment - A strong team player. - Has strong critical sense, challenges others, and has ability to say "no" when appropriate. - Is curious and determined to continuously improve. - Experience with Agile frameworks and delivery models. - Experience with Product and Agile Management methodology - Proficiency in data modeling and design, including SQL development - Working knowledge of data warehousing and analytics. - Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, including continuous integration & delivery using DevOps tools. - Solid communication, influencing and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams in a cross-cultural and cross-functional environment. - Organized, focused, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment. **What we offering** Place of Location: Colonia Santa Fe, CDMX Job stability **Benefits**: Attractive salary Type of position: Full time, Contract Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completo, Indefinido Horario: - Turno de 8 horas Educación: - Licenciatura terminada (Deseable)
