Sr Corporate Banking Manager Large Corporate
Objective
- Responsible for managing a group of large corporate client relationships headquartered in Monterrey and of the overall relationship across all products, services and countries.
- Manage a c USD350m loan portfolio
- Position HSBC a top tier 3 relationship bank
- Increase wallet share in all products and services
- Ensure relationships are internationally focused
- Low Return Client remediation
Activities:
- Drive revenue, PBT, returns, outbound business and wallet share growth and achieve AOP targets.
- Aggressive relationship building, customer contact, client plans, pipeline management & product penetration for client portfolio.
- Deepen customer relationships through championing business co-operation with product partners including Global Banking & Markets, GTRF, GLCM, WPB to maximize market share and customer wallet
- Ensure effective utilization of the country balance sheet through monitoring risk-weighted assets (RWA) and returns and deployment of appropriate risk management tools to price appropriately for risk
- Design and execute client-specific strategies to improve profitability (RoRWA) of the assigned portfolio, x-sell of non
- credit /transactional products (GLCM, payroll, trade) - annuity business.
- Maintain adequate credit ratings, reserves, WWM classification, security enhancements/perfection, terms and conditions &covenants of the c D350m loan portfolio
- Increase HSBC’s market share and gain larger share of wallet across assigned country.
- Ensure the team is effectively deployed to directly solicit, cross-sell, and service qualified customers.
- Strive for class-leading customer experience by cultivating a consistent selling and relationship management culture.
- Develop appropriate country-level marketing campaigns, aligned to global campaigns (as applicable) that highlight core strengths and/or where HSBC has “the right to win.
- Develop a strong understanding of customer need by focusing on customer experience and investing in Group-aligned marketing initiatives that create strong brand awareness to deliver targeted customer propositions built around core products and channels.

Requirements
Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
- At least 10 years of relationship/credit management experience in the banking sector.
- Manage a P&L of a client portfolio.
- Commercial and negotiation skills
- Extensive knowledge and proven success with the bank’s products and services
- Highly developed communication skills for use in direct client contact and problem solving
- Ability to provide strong financial and statistical analysis.
- Strong customer service focus
- Attention to detail and the ability to think creatively to solve problems
- Excellent understanding of financial markets and products
- Team leader/ people management experience
- Fluent in English speaking and writing
