**Job Description**:
What you'll do:
An exciting and dynamic opportunity to join one of the fastest-growing startups in Latam and help build the next consumer brands conglomerate
- As the leader of the Business Development team, you will be creating and implementing the lead generation and screening strategies for potential targets within the company to ensure exponential growth
- Owning the first approach with prospective business owners, you will also be in the loop when following-up on proposal generation and closing deals
- You will be structuring deals that are mutually attractive for RioGrande and our desired seller profile
- You will be responsible for presenting qualified opportunities to the Acquisitions Committee
- You will work closely with the brands that we aim to acquire, to fully understand their business and its potential value creation by integrating them into RioGrande’s model
- You will work closely with the Founding team and Acquisitions team to follow up with the valuation and acquisition process.
- You will build relationships with sellers, service providers and important players in the industry by connecting and providing value to their businesses
- You will be in charge of Identifying and developing new deals and partnership opportunities through actionable and well-defined strategic planning, focused on attracting new potential acquisitions and maintaining and developing existing ones

**Qualifications**:
What you need:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or other business related fields
- 3+ years of experience working in Business Development, B2B Sales, or similar; ideally in the e-commerce industry
- Strong interpersonal skills, captivating sales personality, with outstanding written and verbal skills
- Well built analytical skills and understanding of financial statements
- Deep understanding of the e-commerce industry and the emerging market’s context, players and challenges
- Previously built relationships with key players in the industry is highly desirable
- Ability to gather, synthetize and analyze fragmented information from various sources
- Ability to create fruitful relationships with sellers and build a community
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Ability to catalyse change and seize opportunities
- Ability to develop and maintain personal relationships that will prove fruitful for Riogrande by attending events, engage with key sellers, key players in local marketplaces and relevant thought leaders
