- To provide guidance and leadership to the personnel under his/her supervision by following policies and purchasing procedures to be able to achieve financial and operational metrics for the company before the end of the year. Develop, document and execute corporate purchasing strategies across multiple commodities. Provide leadership to drive continuous improvement of all Sourcing and Materials metrics. Develop and execute corporate and strategic plans to reduce our supply base
- Develop and implement plans needed to achieve corporate and division strategic goals, including cost-competitiveness, improved delivery performance, improved quality, supply chain flexibility and reliability, offshore alternate sourcing, flexible delivery systems, reduced lead time, higher inventory turns, and successful launch of cost-competitive new products
- Contribute as a key member of the division's management team. Collaborate with other managers and departments in improving overall business performance. Collaborate with other managers and departments in improving supply base quality and delivery performance. Analyze annual spend to target suppliers to execute bidding events during the year to obtain savings for the company
- Ensure alignment with the new MRO procedure among all departments
