**Job Purpose**

The Remote Fleet Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Fleet Manager to ensure efficient and safe operations across all company vehicles. While working remotely, this role focuses on planning driver schedules and routes, managing fleet data and documentation, coordinating vehicle maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and transportation regulations. This position demands strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills to effectively serve internal teams and maintain seamless fleet operations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules with local teams and vendors to ensure mínimal downtime.
- Support decisions regarding vehicle acquisition, leasing, or replacement.
- Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and verifying training for new drivers.
- Develop and manage optimized driver schedules and routes.
- Monitor driver adherence to schedules and address any deviations promptly.
- Maintain up-to-date records for vehicle registrations, inspections, and compliance.
- Analyze and monitor fleet expenses, seeking cost-saving opportunities and improving fuel efficiency.
- Track vehicle servicing and performance metrics using fleet management software.
- Ensure compliance with all U.S. Department of Transportation laws and safety regulations.
- Remotely monitor GPS data and driver behavior to improve operational efficiency and mitigate risk.
- Prepare detailed reports on fleet usage, maintenance, costs, and performance.
- Collaborate with field personnel to ensure timely communication of fleet needs and issues.
- Promote a high standard of customer service and operational excellence.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in fleet coordination, logistics, or a related administrative role.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices, fleet safety standards, and DOT regulations.
- Experience with fleet management software and electronic records.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate remotely with internal teams and vendors.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a remote work environment.

**Working Conditions**
- Fully remote role with occasional coordination with field teams.
- Must be available during standard business hours and able to respond to time-sensitive fleet matters as needed.

**Physical Requirements**
- Minimal physical demands typical of remote work; however, must be able to manage digital systems and conduct remote troubleshooting.

Pay: $24,000.00 - $25,000.00 per month

**Experience**:

- Fleet Coordinator: 1 year (preferred)
