OVERVIEW: Ensambles Hyson is looking for an Engineer III with high knowledge in Manufacture engineering, Continuous improvement. A successful applicant will have demonstrated years of experience, performs manufacturing engineering tasks under mínimal guidance that are varied and complex, which require troubleshooting and interpreting data. Develops and implements new test methods or manufacturing process’s purpose of reducing costs and improving efficiency. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES / BEHAVIORS: - Performs a variety of engineering assignments to develop and implement production/processing methods and controls to meet quality standards in a cost-efficient manner. - Provides liaison support between the engineering department and manufacturing. - Recommends and implements improvements and/or modifications for sequence of operations, equipment utilization and related matters. - Monitors assigned operations to assure compliance with current project schedules and approved quality standards. - Makes recommendations regarding the purchase or building of new equipment or modernization of existing production/processing equipment. - Manages the install of new tools, fixtures, and equipment into the facility. - Monitors and supports facility metrics for safety, quality, delivery and efficiency other duties as assigned.
Experiência y requisitos
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - 5+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment. - Design and project engineering with increasing levels of responsibility. - Experience leading design reviews on automated equipment with a focus on longevity, maintenance accessibility, operator safety and efficiency. - Solid understanding of fabrication / machining techniques. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment, both as a leader/facilitator and a participant. - Working knowledge of CAD/CAE engineering tools. - Working knowledge of quality improvement methods. - Ability to perform financial analysis and cost justifications. - Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks with mínimal supervision. - Strong project management skills. - Knowledge of SPC, FMEA, DOE, Lean Manufacturing, and process capability studies. - Well organized, enthusiastic, high energy, strong work ethic. - Medium Level English verbal and written communication skills. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Advanced Degree in Engineering or Business Management. - Experience with irrigation products / industry as a plus. - Experience Validation assembly equipment. - Experience in low-cost, high-volume, low-defect manufacturing - Experience in Quality Control. - Knowledge of 6-Sigma, DFSS, LEAN, FMEA, DOE, and other quality improvement methods
