R&D IT Application Support

This role has been designated as ‘Edge’, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.

**R&D IT Application Support**

If you enjoy solving problems and learning new concepts in a constantly evolving IT landscape then this is the job for you.
- R&D IT provides custom
- developed and third-party solutions that help HPE engineers develop new hardware and software products.
- You will have the opportunity to work with members in IT as well as the R&D community.
- The work assignments will vary depending on the current need but all contribute to the success of R&D and HPE.
- Participate in cross-functional teams. Leads design activities.
- Demonstrates technical leadership, and exerts influence outside of immediate team. Develops innovative team solutions to complex problems. Contributes to strategic direction for teams.
- Performs solution design. Applies the company and 3rd party technologies and leads design of highly complex infrastructure and software solutions.

**_ About you: _**
- Typically a technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 7 or more years of experience writing code such as, and not limited to, Java, C, C++, C#, VB.Net; databases like SqlServer/ Oracle;
- Advanced understanding for functional and performance monitoring.
- Advanced understanding of performance troubleshooting
- General Project Management. Customer/ Vendor Management.
- Business Analysis.
- Advanced Web technologies.
- Good verbal and written communication skills; influencing skills and ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team.
- Demonstrated technical leadership skills.
