**Role Overview**:
The Finance Manager, overseeing the Americas region in our Transport sector, will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive support to our regional Team. Your responsibilities will include steering processes and timelines for key financial activities such as budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Adept in cost accounting, the Finance Manager will be instrumental in supporting and guiding the finance teams at the plant level, ensuring strategic financial success across the region.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, manage, and oversee the annual budget for the manufacturing plant
- Support forecasting and budgeting processes to align sales targets with financial expectations
- Create accurate financial forecasts, considering market trends, production plans, and other relevant factors
- Maintain robust cost accounting systems to accurately track production costs
- Prepare regular financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
Communicate financial performance to management, highlighting key metrics and trends
- Analyze and report on variances between actual and budgeted costs, identifying areas for improvement
- Evaluate and analyze proposed capital expenditures, providing insights into the financial impact and return on investment
- Collaborate with the Sales Team to develop effective pricing strategies that balance competitiveness with profitability
- Conduct cost analyses to ensure that pricing aligns with production costs and financial goals

**Critical Competencies for Success**
- Possess an advanced degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate financial insights effectively with an English-speaking global team.
- Proven experience in a finance or accounting role within the manufacturing sector.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Familiarity with financial regulations and accounting standards relevant to Mexico.
- Proven ability to implement effective internal controls and risk management practices.
