Freight and Warehousing Manager

Latch is seeking a Freight and Warehousing Manager, reporting to the Sr. Director of Supply Chain. This role will maintain the commercial relationships with external Latch service providers supporting freight and warehousing, as well as operational execution of the logistics needs for Latch hardware. The individual will execute and propose improvements to the fulfillment and freight processes and partnerships needed to meet and exceed internal targets and customer expectations.
**Responsibilities**:
Monitor and improve operational performance through deep data and financial analysis, monitoring KPI dashboards for internal and external operations.
Maintain commercial relationships with all Latch freight and warehousing partners.
Set proper cross-functional expectations via communicated and reported SLAs.
Process order and shipment transactions in Latch systems
Monitor and provide status updates to open orders
Drive improvements in Gross Margin through productivity management and optimizing operations.
Foster an environment of data-driven decision-making.
Maintain the delicate balance in compliance, cost, and speed.
Perform and assist with other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**:
Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in shipping & warehouse management.
Experience managing external service providers (3PL, freight, customs compliance).
BS/MS in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
Experience establishing and maintaining long-term supplier/partner relationships.
Experience with electronics / hardware products.
Able to work efficiently in a team environment.
Ability to multitask in a constantly changing, fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated strong quantitative and qualitative skills.
Required to have a detail-oriented mindset to collect, validate, interpret, and analyze complex data, to identify issues and trends to support fact-based decisions.
