**Artwork & Packaging Specialist**

**Purpose**:
The Artwork & Packaging Specialist is responsible for initiating, managing, and coordinating artwork and packaging changes on Consumer Health products. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with local regulations and Bayer SOPs, and managing the artwork approval process. The Artwork & Packaging Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring artwork is released on time to support Product Supply.

The role embraces Dynamic Shared Ownership (DSO) principles and practices.

Regional & Local

**Key Tasks**:

- Collaborate and communicate with internal teams and external partners to understand packaging requirements, provide updates, and address concerns
- Manage multiple artwork/ packaging projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and delivery
- Conduct thorough reviews of packaging artwork to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies
- Initiate and manage all mockup artwork projects for submission to Health Canada
- Initiate and manage all production artwork changes
- Review and approve case labels
- Responsible for ensuring the Artwork Library is accurate and up to date
- Support marketing in pack shot creations
- Track component material write-offs associated with artwork changes
- Provide packaging support on New Product Launches, Reformulations and Site Transfers
- Provide support on special Packaging projects and other projects as needed.

**Qualification & Competencies**:

- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Packaging Design, or a related field
- Proven experience in packaging design and artwork management
- Proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Strong understanding of printing processes and packaging materials
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to packaging for Drug Products and NHPs
- Project management and organizational skills; demonstrated ability to lead projects, work as a team player and self-starter
- Creative thinking and design skills; strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication, interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, customer focus and negotiation skills required
- Computer skills/ability to work with various software packages, e.g., Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with SAP is a plus
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a matrixed organization.
