Location Santiago de Querétaro, Querétaro, Mexico As a **General Ledger Expert**, you will take care of regular account reconciliations, month-end closings, and detailed account reviews. You'll also help to improve our accounting processes, and support audit readiness and strengthen financial integrity across the board. You will report directly to GL Supervisor - #LI-Hybrid_ **Main Responsibilities** - Analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts - Execution and validation of month-end closing reconciliations - Active participation in accounting close processes, ensuring accuracy - Accounting and financial support to internal areas, including audit attention and operational requirements - Collaboration in continuous improvement and automation projects for financial processes - Preparation and review of accounting reports for strategic decision-making - Identify discrepancies and proposal of solutions to optimize the quality of financial information - Solid knowledge of accounting - Improvement projects automating processes **Qualifications** - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or any related fields with 2 or 3 years of experience in similar roles - Hybrid mode: 3 days in the office, 2 days at home - Proficiency in ERP systems (especially Oracle) - Knowledge of general accounting principles - Experience with SAP, QAD - Previous participation in accounting automation projects Benefits included will be discussed with you by your recruiter during the hiring process like medical benefits, life insurance and more. **About us**: **PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD** **The PPG Way** Every single day at PPG: **We partner with customers to create mutual value.** **We are "One PPG" to the world.** **We trust our people every day, in every way.** **We make it happen.** **We run it like we own it.** **We do better today than yesterday - everyday.** Benefits will be discussed with you by your recruiter during the hiring process.
