We are seeking an individual with high energy and a drive for results to join our team as a site Expeditor within our Supply Chain department. The identified individual will play a critical role with our Suppliers in ensuring on-time delivery and partnering to minimize the impact of any changes. They will be responsible for working with the internal Flowserve Supply Chain, and expediting suppliers, preparing and sharing the corresponding reports. They will travel regularly to Suppliers within assigned area of responsibility. Position is located on-site when not traveling.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY**
- Collaborate with Suppliers during contract reviews to ensure open issues or questions are resolved prior to impacting schedule
- Coordinate and expedite flow of materials, parts, and any documents between our Suppliers and our internal Supply Chain team(s)
- Proactively review Supplier’s production schedules to determine any change in material requirements
- Examine material delivered to production departments to verify conformance to specifications as needed
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams on transport modes from Suppliers to Flowserve locations
- Compile, record and report project performance and progress to management and key stakeholders
- Facilitate coordination of 3rd party resources as required to support assigned projects
- Crosstrain with site Buyers to effectively support departmental needs as necessary
- Travel regularly to identified Suppliers, could travel up to 75% depending on Supplier and production needs
- Direct communication with US and Foreign based suppliers for expediting/status updates
- Compliance with Flowserve Safety, Integrity & Ethics procedures/policies
- Compliance with Flowserve Supply Chain policies & procedures

**QUALIFICATIONS**

Required:

- Associate’s Degree in related field; and or combination of education and experience
- Experience managing Supplier or other third-party relationships
- General knowledge of Supply Chain fundamentals and how effective expediting can impact production
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and responsiveness based on the needs of the business
- Ability to work in a team oriented, fast paced environment
- Proficiency with MS Office, primarily Excel
- Effective Communication skills
- Fluency in English
- Ability to travel regularly (75% of the time)

Preferred:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or related field
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role within manufacturing
- Fluency in Spanish or additional languages
