Global PCBa Manufacturing Test Staff Engineer

**Purpose Statement**:This role is responsible for continuously improving test performance and equipment, troubleshooting complex issues, supporting equipment installation and changes, and providing technical guidance. Test engineers also play a key role in implementing and validating testing equipment and identifying best practices globally. **Key Job Accountabilities**: - Regarded as a "go to" technical specialist, leader and mentor within their Manufacturing discipline; and/or regarded as a cross-discipline leader and mentor for product / process development, process improvement or troubleshooting within site/ region, as it applies to their role. - Serves as a technical and/or project team lead providing technical guidance/ training, controlling scope, schedule, budget and ensuring overall technical success on small to mid-size Plexus Manufacturing Processes, as it applies to their role. - Leads continuous improvement activities associated with their engineering discipline and/or project-level tools or processes, as it applies to their role. - Provides customer service leadership in project technical discussions, business continuity and new proposal creation. **Education/Experience Qualifications**: - A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or science is required; a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or higher is preferred. - Minimum Eight (8) years of related experience is required. - An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered. - English reading, writing, and speaking proficiency required. **Other Qualifications**: - Intermediate Computer Skills - Intermediate Decision Making, Problem Solving Skills - Intermediate Verbal and Written Communications Skills - Strong Analytical and statistical analysis Skills; Statistical Process Control Software Skills - Strong Cross-Discipline Development Knowledge - Strong understand Structured Design - Ability to develop good working relationships with team members and customers - Lab tool/ test/measurement equipment experience preferred - This document does not represent a contract of employment and is not intended to capture every possible assignment the incumbent could be asked to perform._
