Coordinate Process Chemistry knowledge sharing through expert networks to ensure that CEMEX has the newest and more profitable technologies in the field. Review Product Quality across the organization and assure compliance in all regions.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Develop and coordinate global & regional chemistry process initiatives to ensure technology transfer of the most profitable initiatives
- Enable & supervise process chemistry expertise networks to ensure adapting to technology changes and promote technology adoption through enabled networks.
- Review selection of quality technology for CAPEX projects to ensure selection of equipment.
- Coordinate intra and inter-regional Chemistry specialist to ensure integral problem solving within the cement plants.
- Supervise global initiatives execution in order to ensure the maximum benefits from them

**Position Challenges**:

- Maintain & evolve the external networking according to latest developments in the field
- Multiple standards and construction culture in the world may condition the deployment of some valuable initiatives
- Identify new chemistry related processes and technologies from the very initial phase, when the most advantage can be taken, but also when information is scarce.

**Qualifications**:
Language
- English Proficiency 100%

Background
- Chemical Engineer

**Experience**:

- Manufacturing, Cement industry
- Cement process/Quality related functions
- Process Chemistry/Quality Assurance

Technical Skills required
- Deep understanding of Cement process Chemical Reactions, Combustion, Clinkerization and Quality principles, from a Chemistry point of view.
- Deep knowledge of cement Technology, cement quality and production process.
- Plant operations administration, Mining and Grinding knowledge at least at a basic level.

Soft Skills
- People management, presentation skills, analytical thinking, Communication of ideas effectively in both oral and written form, Ability to work effectively with others.

- Global Operations & Technology
- Plant Directors & Quality Managers, Operations, Research & Development, Planing, Trading, Procurement

EXTERNAL:

- Suppliers, Universities, Customers, R&D Centers, PCA, VDZ, other.
