**Location**:Remote (Based in Mexico)

**Overview**:
We are seeking a seasoned Database Administrator (DBA) to join our remote team. As a DBA, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our databases to ensure they operate efficiently and securely. This role requires advanced conversational English skills and offers the opportunity to work remotely from Mexico.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and maintain databases, including SQL Server, MySQL, or similar platforms.
- Implement and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for data integration.
- Perform data backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Implement security measures and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to optimize performance.
- Analyze data for quality management and implement measures to improve data quality.
- Optimize database queries for performance and efficiency.
- Generate reports and provide insights based on data analysis.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of work experience as a Database Administrator (DBA).
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems.
- Experience with ETL processes, data backup and recovery, and database security.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, query optimization, and reporting.
- Advanced conversational English skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work independently and remotely with mínimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
