We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Senior Database Administrator** to join our team.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensure acceptable database availability and response times by diagnosing and resolving issues in a high-availability multi-datacenter environment
- Proactively monitor database performance and identify potential issues to maintain smooth operations
- Provide effective and timely problem resolution during regular work hours
- Ensure compliance with audit, security, and regulatory requirements
- Provide DBA support for complex software installations and upgrades, including major updates
- Maintain strong commitment to the integrity, security, and privacy of critical business data
- Support data replication, backup, and availability solutions

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of development and administrative experience with DB2 z/OS
- Knowledge of SQL, including XML, triggers, functions, and stored procedures
- Background in DDL, DCL, and database utilities or commands
- Skills in database tools such as Toad, BMC, and db2top
- Experience with large OLTP databases or data warehouses
- Proficiency in Unix scripting for database environments
- Familiarity with CICS or MQ integration
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

**Nice to have**
- Understanding of database performance tuning in a high-volume environment
- Background in using OEM for database monitoring and optimization
- Familiarity with database security protocols and data masking strategies
- Knowledge of best practices for cross-environment database deployments
