Where You’ll Make a Difference- Process payroll for multiple legal entities in Mexico, covering both unionized and salaried employees.- Ensure payroll calculations comply with union agreements, local labor laws, and applicable benefits.- Guarantee timely payments to government institutions such as IMSS, INFONAVIT, FONACOT, and payroll tax authorities.- Coordinate payments to external payroll vendors.- Validate retirement calculations and ensure accuracy.- Respond to audits, reviews, and inquiries from labor authorities including REPSE, IMSS, STPS, SAT, INFONAVIT, and FONACOT.- Resolve payroll discrepancies and provide timely support to employees.- Maintain and continuously improve payroll procedures, ensuring compliance with data privacy and internal controls.- Support account reconciliations, audit documentation, and month-end closing activities.

What Makes You the Right Fit- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.- 5+ years of experience processing payroll in Mexico, including unionized environments.- Strong understanding of labor and tax regulations, with the ability to interpret complex legal information.- Experience in month-end closing, account reconciliations, and payroll integration.- Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.- Strong organizational and communication abilities.- Intermediate proficiency in English (spoken and written).- High level of confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive employee data.- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and data processing tools.- Familiarity with Workday, ServiceNow, or other ERP systems for payroll management.
