American company especializing in IT is looking for a

Sr Cloud Engineer

Summary: Designs, installs and maintains IT systems. Responsible for testing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking systems to meet the needs of Petco’s business.

**Requirements**:
BS Degree in Computer Science or similar

2 5 years of experience

Familiar with limited languages, basic understanding of frameworks, basic understanding of APIs

Basic understanding of concepts and tools

Familiar with continuous delivery process to enable continuous iteration on solutions

Knowledge & experience with SDLC & processes

Able to take on routine tasks and provide solutions

Understanding of cloud networking, routing, load balancing, CIDR Blocks, Security Groups, Access Lists and Policies.

Assist with the architecture design and support for development teams’ management, migrations, and deployments from the data center to public cloud Serverless Lambda, Cloud Databases, and EKS.

Understanding of git merges, pull requests and CI/CD processes.

Experience using GitHub Actions / GitLab pipelines, terraform, vault and helm to manage / deploy public cloud infrastructure.
