**Position Overview**

We are currently hiring a **Bilingual Bankruptcy Consultant** to work **100% on-site in Guadalajara, Jalisco**. This is a **full-time, in-office position** designed for professionals with strong English communication skills and experience in client consultation and sales.

The Bankruptcy Consultant conducts initial bankruptcy consultations, gathers financial and debt information, explains legal options, and focuses on **client retention and conversion**. This role requires empathy, professionalism, and the ability to guide clients clearly through the early stages of the bankruptcy process (Chapters 7, 13, and 128).

**This position is strictly on-site in Guadalajara. Remote or hybrid work is not available.**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct bankruptcy consultations with potential clients (English & Spanish).
- Collect and analyze financial, income, and debt information.
- Clearly explain bankruptcy options and firm services.
- Communicate the value and benefits of retaining the firm.
- Create structured payment plans to prepare clients to file within 90 days.
- Explain the firm’s partnership with GAJ and post-bankruptcy credit rebuilding programs (720 credit rebuild).
- Schedule onboarding meetings for newly retained clients.
- Process initial payments and follow up on failed transactions.
- Handle refund requests and resolve concerns professionally.
- Maintain accurate client records in the CRM system.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with privacy policies.
- Collaborate closely with attorneys, intake, onboarding, and client services teams.
- Represent the firm with empathy, patience, and strong problem-solving skills.

**Required Qualifications**
- **Advanced or fluent English (spoken and written).**:

- Excellent phone communication and active listening skills.
- Strong sales, persuasion, and client retention abilities.
- Experience working with CRM systems.
- High attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic.

**Job Expectations**
- Work closely with internal teams to meet weekly and monthly goals.
- Return all client communications within 24 hours.
- Review and document notes in Clio accurately.
- Attend team and department meetings.
- Handle client escalation calls and involve management when necessary.

**Performance Goals**
- **Weekly Retains**: 17-20 (counted once payment is posted)
- **Conversion Rate**: 60%
- **Payment Plans**: P2F / 90 Days
- **Average Handle Time (AHT)**: 22 minutes

**Compensation & Benefits**
