Description

ContiTech’s Mobile Fluid Division is currently seeking an ANNEX 24 /VAT Certification Specialist to join our team. This position is located at our San Luis Potosi facility.

This person would be responsible for maintenance and reconciliation of the Annex 24/31. Covering direct material, Fixed Assets, scrap, indirect material and all types of operations relating to the Annex 24/31, ensuring that all import/export, foreign and virtual operations, comply with the Mexican and International trade laws.
- Ensure compliance for all Import & Export foreign Operations, preparing the proper documents, through ANNEX 24 software
- Ensure the data integrity of Trade Compliance processes
- Ensure the data integrity in ANNEX 24 through weekly and/or monthly validations.
- Supporting the Inventory reconciliation between Annex 24/GLOSA/SAP
- Control the temporary inventories of raw materials and fixed assets
- Validate the expiry periods of the merchandise
- Capacity to demonstrate which imports were classified as “change in regime” resulting from the payment of applicable duties
- Track “inter-maquila” “inter-IMMEX” transfers (virtual)
- Coordinate with Foreign Trade Team to track waste and scrap, as well as the method of their disposal
- Generate reports, KPI’s that demonstrate compliance with established requirements as required by Trade Compliance Manager
- Comply with all recordkeeping requirements of operations performed by adjustments
- Validate to ensure the full compliance with New Customs Regulations, Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) Classifications USA/ Mexico, Free trade agreements, etc.
- Monitor the import/export of raw materials, finished goods, equipment, scrap, non-productive material, excess and obsolete materials on a monthly basis
- Work in conjunction with Foreign Trade Department and Customs Brokers, as required

**Qualifications**:
Knowledge of Maquila program, Annex 24 & 31
- At least 3 years of experience in Foreign Trade Inventory Control or in a manufacturing environment, automotive preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, economics science or field related.
- Intermediate level of english is required.
- Knowledge in Mexican procedures and compliance
- Knowledge of MRP / ERP system as a plus ( SAP )
- Intermittent or advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel audit formulas)
