**PRICING ANALYST** This role is a team member of the Aftermarket Pricing Team, reporting to the Manager, Pricing Operations, Data and Metrics. The Pricing Analyst position will be responsible for assignments in the Industrial and Automotive Aftermarket in the United States. In this role, employee will work cooperatively with internal and external stakeholders to meet profitability goals through development and execution of product pricing and profit strategies for assigned end markets and customers. This role will also be responsible for completing strategic pricing and data analytics that are highly visible within the organization. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES***: - List the essential functions that are core to this position and represent at least 5% of the incumbent"s time. Percent of time as listed below are approximate and vary by customer and end market assignment. Other duties may be assigned beyond the core functions listed below._ - _ **1** - 40% - Impact and profitability analysis for special pricing agreements and quote delivery **2** - 30% - Strategic pricing and data analysis **3** - 20% - Record and track special pricing agreements **4** - 10% - Support additional pricing inquiries and tasks as needed **QUALIFICATIONS**: - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required._ - Minimum: BS/BA or equivalent with 1 year of pricing experience. - Preferred: BS/BA or equivalent with 3 years" experience in the areas of Pricing, Financial Analysis, Business Analysis, Finance, Accounting, Accounts Receivable or Billing *** **REQUIRED SKILLS**: - Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization, within a multi-cultural setting - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Organized, ability to juggle multiple priorities and flexible to accommodate changing business needs and fixed deadlines. - Aptitude for critical analysis and creative problem solving - Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building collaborative relationships. Team player; proactively able to step in to support other team members as needed. - Self-motivated, capable of seeking quality solutions and continuously focusing on process improvements, while keeping the needs of the business in the forefront. - Intermediate to Advanced computer and PC skills including Microsoft Excel. *** **WORK ENVIRONMENT**: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
