Manufacturing Engineer

This position is part of our Signal & Power Solutions segment; Connection Systems business unit located in [Juarez, Chihuahua].

**Summary (About this Position)**:
This Engineer is responsible of engineering changes, solving problems and debugging machines for manufacturing areas.

**Your Role (i.e. Key Job Responsibilities)**:

- Engineering Changes Implementation (programming, debug and implement).
- Identify opportunities to increase manufacturing efficiency with automation
- Maintain manufacturing Equipment Effectiveness OEE% required to help manufacturing increase productivity.
- Manages relations with suppliers.
- Meets performance metrics.
- Analyze plant processes, design and implement improvements. ( continuous Improvement)
- Work with others to detect problems and implement solutions.
- Maintain quality and safety standards are upheld.

**Your Required Background (i.e. Must Haves)**:

- **Demonstrated excellence in programming PLCs and HMI. (Allen Bradley STUDIO5000, FactoryTalk, Siemens TIA PORTAL) for Customized and OEM Equipment.**:

- Knowledge of Servo Drivers, Servo Motors, VFD.
- **Experience programming SCARA and 6 Axis robots is highly desired.(Epson, Fanuc)**:

- Vision Systems and Scanning Systems ( COGNEX, KEYENCE)An understanding of, and ability to work with: reading and analyzing electrical, pneumatic and mechanical schematics.
- Create and Read Mechanical, pneumatic and Electrical Drawings
- Proficiency reading, analyzing and creating detailed electrical, pneumatic and mechanical schematics in CAD (AutoCAD Electrical preferred)
- Proficiency reading, analyzing and creating detailed mechanical drawings and solid models ( SolidWorks preferred)
- Experience with Electrical testers ( Keysight i1000)
- Terminal inserter machines ( Eberhards, UMG )
- **Conformal Coating dispensing machines ( PVA, Assimtek-Norson).**:

- Visual Studio.NET programming ( Visual Basic, Visual C#).

**Required Qualifications**:

- BS or MS Electrical Engineering (or equivalent - Majors in Controls and Computer Control Systems, Mechatronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, etc.)
- 2-4 years of experience as a hands-on Electrical testing engineer, Controls Engineer.
- Excellent communication skills with strong results-orientation and execution characteristics.
- Team player.
