AstraZeneca’s Commercial IT organization is accountable for creating and aligning technology strategy with our commercial colleagues and executing that strategy through the creation, launch, and support of relevant technology products, platforms, and services.
The Global Capability - Digital Marketing IT team is accountable for our Marketing Technology (MarTech) stack, inclusive of customer profiling & activation, journey orchestration, personalization/optimization, content and digital asset management, outbound marketing, digital experience, and creative & marketing operations capabilities.
**What you’ll do**
As IT Capability Partner - Digital & Omnichannel Technologies, you will be accountable for a subset of the Digital Marketing IT capability domains listed above. Responsibilities for your assigned domains include:
- Developing strategic relationships with our commercial colleagues globally to understand business strategy and objectives
- Developing Martech strategy and roadmaps in alignment with business strategy and priorities
- Developing proposals and business cases for technology investments in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders
- Ensuring delivery of approved investments by removing barriers for execution teams and managing senior level stakeholder expectations
- Cultivating ideas and using an experimentation mindset to bring forward the right capabilities for optimal business value realization and scaling
- Educating others on our marketing technologies and how and when to use them to deliver optimal business outcomes
- Bringing technology and data closer to the business to enable customer-centric strategies and customer-focused execution
**Essential for the role**
- Relationship building, influencing, and managing up and across complex organizational structures
- Experience developing and maintaining roadmaps
- Experience developing business cases and mobilizing approved investments
- Understanding of Marketing processes, tactics, and techniques
- Expertise in marketing technologies for your domains
**Desirable for the role**
- Experience in how Martech and Adtech capabilities work with each other
- Understanding of capabilities used with Sales Reps and how they complement and integrate with marketing and advertising to deliver Omnichannel
- Pharma industry experience
