**Description**
Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the efficiency and success of the accounts payable function in the accounting department. The key function of this position is to handle all functions of accounts payable processes.
**Profile**
Enter and generate payment to invoices received by vendors
Review and reconcile vendor statements
Monthly AP Close
Ensure all transactions are captured for month end close
Other duties as assigned
**Responsibilities**
Requires an **Associates degree or higher**.
Recommended 1-2 years of **customer service experience**.
Requires some relevant accounting experience.
A combination of education, training and related experience may meet requirements.
Experience with the Microsoft Office suite.
Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint site management
Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
Extremely driven (almost like a sales mentality) and has strong collections experience. (If they dont have collections experience, sales would suffice.)
Extremely motivated to collect.
**Shift**
Monday to Friday
8:00 am to 5:36 pm
**Salary**
$27,000 gross monthly salary
+$1000 food stamps
+30 days christmas bonus
+Private medical insurance
+15 PTO days (from day 1 to first year's aniversary, after that 5 PTO days per year)
Pay: $27,000.00 per month
**Education**:
- Associate (required)
**Experience**:
- Collections or sales: 3 years (required)
- Accounting experience: 1 year (preferred)
